Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Oxide, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Oxide is a fitness and nutrition tracking app for gym members. Features may include food logging, workouts, steps, fasting, personal plans, gym announcements, and optional coach check-ins. Features depend on your gym's configuration and your device permissions.

Oxide⁺ is an optional paid upgrade with additional personal features (for example voice-guided workouts, extended weight charts, and unlimited food library limits). Oxide works without Oxide⁺.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your jurisdiction (the app is not directed at children under 13).

Your gym may invite you with a gym code or link. Your relationship with your gym (membership, coaching, fees) is separate from these terms. Coaches at your gym may see data you choose to share, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Some gyms may include Oxide⁺ for members under a separate gym agreement. That inclusion is between you and your gym and is not a substitute for these terms where you subscribe on your own through Google Play.

This section applies when you purchase Oxide⁺ through Google Play on Android.

5.1 Plans and billing

• Oxide⁺ is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (for example monthly and yearly plans). Plan names and prices are shown in the app before you confirm purchase and are set in Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, as described by Google Play.
• We do not store your payment card. Google Play is the merchant of record for these transactions.

5.2 What you get

Premium features are described in the app on the Oxide⁺ plans screen. We may add, change, or remove premium features over time, but we will not remove core free logging features that the free tier already includes.

5.3 Cancel, restore, and manage

• Cancel: Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or use: https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions?package=com.silicasites.oxide. Canceling stops future billing; you may keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Restore: Use Restore purchases in the app (Settings → Oxide⁺ or the Oxide⁺ plans screen) if you reinstall or switch devices, signed in with the same Google Play account used to subscribe.
• Free trial or introductory offers (if offered in Play Console) are subject to Google Play's terms and any eligibility rules shown at purchase.

5.4 Refunds

Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled under Google Play's refund policies, not by Silica Sites directly. Contact Google Play support for billing disputes on store purchases.

5.5 Separate from gym fees

Oxide⁺ is a personal upgrade to the member app. It does not replace gym membership dues, coaching packages, or fees you pay your gym or studio.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass others
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
• Upload malware or abusive content through any feature that accepts text
• Circumvent Oxide⁺ access controls or abuse subscription verification

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Oxide is for general fitness and nutrition tracking only. It is not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before changing diet, exercise, or health treatment. Stop exercising if you feel unwell.

The app, branding, and content we provide are owned by Silica Sites or licensors. You retain rights to your own data you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process your data to operate the service.

The app uses third-party services (e.g. Supabase, Google Play, food and exercise APIs). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice. We may change Oxide⁺ pricing or plans in Google Play for new purchases; existing subscriptions follow Google Play and the plan you selected until you change or cancel.

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

You may delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account). We may terminate or suspend accounts for breach of these terms or legal requirements.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel in Google Play to avoid future charges.

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silica Sites is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or health outcomes arising from use of the app.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Silica Sites' place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer rights apply.
