Oxide is a fitness and nutrition app for gym members. This policy describes what data we collect, why, how it is stored, and your choices.
We do not sell your personal data.
On your device: A local database for offline access and backups you control.
In the cloud: Supabase (hosted infrastructure) for account sync, gym data, and coach-assigned plans when you are signed in.
Data is sent over HTTPS. Do not share your account password.
Third parties process data only as needed to provide these features. Review their policies if you use linked services.
The app may request:
You can deny permissions in your device settings; some features may not work.
If your gym uses Oxide with coaching features, coaches at your gym may see fitness and nutrition data you choose to share, consistent with your gym's practices. Ask your gym for their privacy practices.
You may delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your cloud profile when server deletion is enabled.
Local data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app or using in-app data controls where available.
We may retain minimal logs required for security or legal compliance for a limited period.
Oxide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data may be processed in regions where our hosting providers operate. By using the app you consent to transfer as allowed by applicable law.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
